Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and App Kumu LLC ("we", "us") for your use of the Owau app and owauapp.com ("Owau"). By using Owau, you agree to them. If you downloaded Owau from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

Using Owau

You must be at least 13 years old to use Owau. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for activity on your account.

What Owau is (and isn't)

Owau is a tool for mindset, intention-setting and personal reflection. It is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and it does not promise any particular result.

Owau Plus subscriptions

Some features, such as AI voice, are part of Owau Plus, a paid subscription sold through the App Store and billed to your Apple Account.

• Plans: $9.99 per month or $49.99 per year (US prices; prices in other countries may differ and are shown in the App Store before you buy).
• Free trial: new subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged for the plan you chose.
• Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Owau. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Owau Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds: payments are handled by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your content and AI voice

You own the recordings, text and photos you add to Owau. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Owau for you. You can delete your content or your account at any time.

If you use AI voice, you may only create a voice from your own voice, and you confirm this by reading a consent sentence in the app. Using Owau to copy or imitate someone else's voice is not allowed.

Community

Be kind. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. You can report or block other users in the app.

Changes and ending use

We may update Owau and these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. You can stop using Owau at any time, and we may suspend access if you break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Owau is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, App Kumu LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Owau.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, USA.
